This MarineLINE clean guide has been prepared for use by professionals responsible for the care and condition of the MarineLINE coating in ocean going cargo tanks. Advanced Polymer Coatings, Inc (“APC”) published this guide as a reference source of cleaning solutions that are compatible with and will not damage MarineLINE. APC has no direct experience with tank cleaning. These recommendations are based upon APC’s deep knowledge of MarineLINE and information received from owners and charterers operating with MarineLINE tanks. The user of this guide is expected to have a working knowledge of the International Safety Management Code, MARPOL Annex I and Annex II and other applicable national and international safety and environmental laws, each of which must be satisfied before commencing tank cleaning.
